DJI Osmo handheld 4K camera films drone-like smooth video

The Chinese drone-maker DJI has unveiled a handheld device that integrates a video camera and a stabilisation gimbal.
The Osmo captures footage at up to 4K - four times the detail of 1080p high definition - to deliver the kind of shake-free footage that has become associated with drones.
The BBC's technology correspondent Rory Cellan-Jones put the Osmo to the test.
At £549 it may be beyond the budget of casual videomakers, but the company believes it has spotted a gap in the market - although other companies sell gimbals for GoPros and other action cameras, they can be fiddly to set up and sometimes require post-processing of the resulting video to make it truly smooth.
