Pakistan v England: UAE tour 'hardest by a mile' - Vaughan

England's three-Test series against Pakistan in the United Arab Emirates will be harder than facing Australia or South Africa, says former skipper Michael Vaughan.
The first match of the series begins in Abu Dhabi on Tuesday at 07:00 BST.
"This is the most difficult by a country mile because of the conditions and because of the inexperience of spin that England have got," said Vaughan.
"I wonder if England have missed a trick with their preparation."

Ryan and Moira Goepfert were elated when they were selected for student housing at Columbia University. The move would put them in a renovated doorman building across from campus, and it would save them $600 a month in rent. But after Mr. Goepfert visited the quiet hallways of the university building, the couple turned down the offer. “Almost 100 percent of the reason was our daughter, Grace, and the relationships she’s built on our floor,” said Mr. Goepfert, 34, who is pursuing a degree at Columbia’s School of General Studies. The Goepferts live in a one-bedroom rental on West 119th Street in  Harlem . Their floor has six children between the ages of 4 months and 7 years and the family next door has a baby on the way. ISLAMABAD:  Days before Pakistan’s powerful army chief was due to visit Washington for talks on regional stability and fighting militancy, General Raheel Sharif engaged in thinly veiled criticism of the nuclear-armed country’s civilian government. A terse statement from the army’s PR wing underlined the tension between Pakistan’s military and its civilian government, just as the United States prepares to receive Sharif weeks after the prime minister held talks there. After top generals met to review a major crackdown on extremists, the Pakistani military said it would be “undermined” if the government did not take “matching governance initiatives”.
