Nepal Crash Out

Nepal's hopes of qualifying foe the AFC U-19 Championship ended following their 3-0 de feat at the hands of Jordan in the least Group E match of the  Qualification at the Samen All Aemeh stadium in Mashhad, Iran on Tuesday. Jordan took an early lead through the goal of Anas Ahmad  Mahmoud Hammad in the sixth minute and Hijazi Maher HIjazi doubled the tally in the 14th minute Jordan made it 3-0 in the second minute of injury time when Abdallah  Ibrahim she found the back of the nets. Nepal ended the campaign with just one point. Nepal had made a disastrous start suffrering a 10-0 loss against the hosts Iran on friday, before playing a 1-1 draw against Kuwait on Sunday. A total of 10 Group winners and five best runners-up will quality for the finals. Bahrain have an automatic berth as the hosts of next year's AFC U-19 Championship

Mars' massive Mount Sharp may have formed billions of years ago as water carried sand and silt into the center of a large crater. ASA/JPL-Caltech/MSSS Mars is cold and dry, but billions of years ago, it was cold and wet. That's according to new evidence from NASA's  Curiosity rover , which is currently exploring a large crater on Mars. The rover has found geological evidence that lakes of liquid water existed in the crater 3.5 billion years ago. Ryan and Moira Goepfert were elated when they were selected for student housing at Columbia University. The move would put them in a renovated doorman building across from campus, and it would save them $600 a month in rent. But after Mr. Goepfert visited the quiet hallways of the university building, the couple turned down the offer. “Almost 100 percent of the reason was our daughter, Grace, and the relationships she’s built on our floor,” said Mr. Goepfert, 34, who is pursuing a degree at Columbia’s School of General Studies. The Goepferts live in a one-bedroom rental on West 119th Street in  Harlem . Their floor has six children between the ages of 4 months and 7 years and the family next door has a baby on the way. Especially in the winter, the children hang out in the 12-by-15-foot landing outside the elevator. They ride their scooters down the hallway and kick around a ball.
